Mumbai. The IMPA office in Andheri West glittered with the presence of eminent personalities from the world of music and cinema during the grand launch of Masoom Film Company’s much-talked-about music video album “Dil Ka Khuda.” The album features Rockstar Sangeet Masoom in the lead role. On this occasion, the official YouTube channel “The Great Bollywood” was also launched.
The event was graced by Padma Bhushan singer Udit Narayan, renowned playback singer Agam Kumar Nigam, veteran music composer Dilip Sen, popular singer Shabab Sabri, comedian Sunil Pal, music directors Rafiq Raja and Vaishnav Deva, along with acclaimed actor Ali Khan, who has left his mark in films from “Khuda Gawah” to “Gadar 2.”
During the event, senior journalist and lyricist Mukesh Kumar Masoom strongly demanded that Udit Narayan be honored with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award. He said:
“A singer like Udit Narayan is born only once in centuries. For the song ‘Dil Ka Khuda,’ he did not charge even a single rupee and arrived at the studio an hour before the scheduled time.”
The soulful song has been penned by Mukesh Kumar Masoom, composed by Vaishnav Deva, and melodiously rendered by Udit Narayan. The music video features Sangeet Masoom, whose acting and dancing skills won wide appreciation from the audience.
The event was also attended by Director Azad Hussain, upcoming singer Lavneeta Saha, Ekta Shrimali, actresses Shehnaz, Nazreen, producer-director Kailash Kumar Masoom, politician Kishor Kumar Masoom, social worker Parshuram Yadav, producers Dashrath Rathod, Rais Khan, Umed Singh Rajpurohit, actress Asha Tiwari, producer Asif Khan, actress Gayatri Rathod, S.P. Sen, journalist Jatashankar Singh, and many other dignitaries. The program was hosted by Shivpujan Pandey.
Speaking on the occasion, Shivpujan Pandey remarked:
“Mukesh Masoom’s lyrics are like soothing shade in a scorching desert. At a time when Bollywood is facing a drought of good stories and strong lyrics, his writing shines as a ray of hope.”
Legendary singer Udit Narayan described himself as a member of the Masoom family and called the song outstanding. Actor Ali Khan was deeply moved while listening to the song, with tears welling up in his eyes.
It is noteworthy that Sangeet Masoom has recently gained popularity with his songs “Breakup Party” (Shemaroo) and “Sajan Ke Shehar Mein Jake” (BJS Music). In upcoming projects, he will be seen performing in songs by legendary singers like Udit Narayan, Agam Kumar Nigam, Shabab Sabri, and Krishna Ji.
Since its release, “Dil Ka Khuda” has been winning the hearts of music lovers and is rapidly gaining popularity on YouTube.
