At the Ghazipur Literature Festival, the teaser of the comedy film ‘Baklolz’ was launched; to be released on OTT platform ‘Stage’ this December

The Ghazipur Literature Festival 2025 became even more special this time when the regional OTT platform ‘Stage’ launched the teaser of its upcoming Bhojpuri comedy film ‘Baklolz’. When the teaser was showcased on the stage of the Ghazipur Literature Festival 2025, the entire atmosphere resonated with applause from the audience. The film, with its desi style, earthy humor, and blend of human emotions, is winning hearts. During the event, the entire cast of the film – writer Satya Vyas, actors Manoj Singh Tiger, Ravi Sharma (Munna), Inder Singh (Babu), Ashok Manjhi (Jumman), Riya Nandani (Bela), and Sneha Singh, Bhojpuri Marketing Manager of ‘Stage’, were present. The film will be released this December.

 

On the occasion, actor Manoj Singh Tiger, who plays the role of ‘Benilal’ in the film, shared about his character — “Benilal is that person who exists in every village — simple, humorous, but true at heart. This film is not made just to make people laugh but to make them feel a sense of belonging.” His statement was greeted with applause from the audience. The other artists of the film also shared that ‘Baklolz’ portrays the lives, struggles, dreams, and social fabric of the youth of Purvanchal through gentle humor.

 

During the event, ‘Stage’ representative Sneha Singh stated that this platform is not just a medium of entertainment but also a voice for local culture and language. She said, “Our effort is to bring those stories to the world that have not been heard till now. ‘Baklolz’ is part of that thought — it touches the depth of society along with laughter.” Meanwhile, writer Satya Vyas mentioned that this story is about that common man from the village or city who dreams, struggles, and lives life with a smile.

 

When the film’s teaser was shown during the program, the audience highly appreciated its humorous presentation, dialogues, and authenticity of local flavor. The film’s team mentioned that the purpose of this project is not just entertainment but to depict the dialect, emotions, and lifestyle of Purvanchal. They said that this film will become a source of pride and inspiration for the youth of eastern India.

 

‘Stage’ OTT announced that ‘Baklolz’ will be released exclusively on their platform in December 2025. The film will not only make the audience burst into laughter but will also prove that local stories carry a global appeal. Once again, ‘Stage’ has shown that India’s regional content is now ready to cross boundaries and win hearts across the world.
