The recognition of the campaign ‘B12 Ka Score Check Kiya Kya?’ by the leading brand in B12 deficiency – B 29, follows a journey from screening 1,53,354 individuals across India to generating scientific evidence, building doctor awareness and encouraging early action around Peripheral Neuropathy.

Ahmedabad, India | August 2026: CORONA Remedies Limited has been recognised by the World Book of Records, London, for achieving the “Maximum Number of Doctors Participating in Endorsing a Peripheral Neuropathy Screening Initiative”

The recognition marks the culmination of a larger evidence-to-awareness journey aimed at bringing greater attention to Peripheral Neuropathy, a health condition that can often remain silent and under-recognised until it progresses.

The initiative was built on two years of real-world screening data generated through the NDC screening initiative. Data from 1,53,354 individuals across India was consolidated and analysed to understand the prevalence and burden of Peripheral Neuropathy across different populations.

The findings were subsequently developed into a pan-India clinical study and published in the International Journal of Basic & Clinical Pharmacology.

The study highlighted a significant burden of Peripheral Neuropathy, with 75.4% of the screened individuals identified with neuropathy. Importantly, 53.9% of the identified cases were at the mild stage, highlighting an important opportunity for early detection and timely intervention.

The findings also indicated that the burden extended beyond diabetes. While 90.1% of screened individuals with diabetes were identified with neuropathy, 65.3% of non-diabetic individuals also showed the presence of neuropathy.

Recognising that scientific evidence can create a greater impact when it reaches those involved in patient care, CORONA Remedies Limited took the findings beyond the published study.

Through its “B12 Ka Score Check Kiya Kya?” initiative, the Company transformed the key findings from the pan-India study into an evidence-based digital awareness video. The initiative communicated the prevalence of Peripheral Neuropathy across different regions of India and highlighted the importance of recognising the condition at an earlier stage.

The digital initiative was presented to doctors across the country, helping take real-world scientific evidence directly into clinical conversations and encouraging greater awareness around the importance of early screening and timely action.

The initiative by B 29 brought together 4,126 doctors, whose participation and endorsement of the Peripheral Neuropathy Screening Initiative led to the recognition by the World Book of Records, London.

Speaking about the recognition, Mr Vijay Charlu, Head – India Business, CORONA Remedies Limited, said:

“For us, this recognition is about much more than achieving a record. It represents the journey of transforming real-world screening into scientific evidence, evidence into awareness, and awareness into an opportunity for earlier action. Peripheral Neuropathy can often remain unnoticed until it progresses. If greater awareness and timely screening can help create opportunities for earlier intervention, that is the impact we ultimately seek to contribute towards.”

From 1,53,354 individuals screened, to a pan-India scientific study, followed by an evidence-based awareness initiative, and the participation of 4,126 doctors, the journey demonstrates how real-world evidence can be translated into broader healthcare awareness.

The World Book of Records recognition stands as a milestone in that journey—but the larger purpose remains unchanged: helping bring greater attention to early detection, timely action and better patient care.
