The panels, available in 6, 8 and 12-circuit configurations across the AC, AR, RC, XL, RGB and AS series, are designed to replace scattered dashboard switches with a single, centrally wired control unit.
The idea behind the panel is straightforward. Instead of running separate switches and wiring for every accessory — a beacon here, a compressor there, a work light somewhere else — one panel connects to a relay box that handles the heavy current, while the dash-mounted unit itself carries only a light control signal. For vehicles that carry a lot of auxiliary equipment, that difference matters, both for the person wiring the vehicle and the person using it every day.

Switch Panels for Ambulance
Ambulance fitouts tend to run a specific set of accessories — scene lighting, beacons, compressors, interior fans — and Auxbeam’s 6 and 8-circuit panels are sized around exactly that. Fleet workshops fitting out ambulances have flagged panel space and wiring clutter as recurring headaches, particularly on vehicles that get refitted more than once over their service life. Combined with the memory function — which keeps the last-used settings after a power cycle — drivers don’t need to reconfigure the panel every time the vehicle is restarted.

Off-road builds are arguably where switch panels get used the hardest. Vibration, dust, water crossings and constant on-off cycling of winches, compressors and auxiliary lights all put real stress on switches and wiring. The RGB and XL series panels are built with that in mind, using a surface-mount design that avoids a large dashboard cut-out — a detail that matters to anyone who has had to modify a dash panel just to fit a switch bank.
The three switching modes carry over well here too. Momentary mode suits winches and anything that should stop the moment you release the button, while Pulsed mode works for strobing auxiliary lights. And because the panel doesn’t require an app or remote to function — those are optional add-ons on select series — it still works as a straightforward manual panel for builders who’d rather keep things simple.
Switch Panels for Marine Vehicles
Marine use raises the bar on water resistance, and it’s one of the areas where the panel’s protective features do the most work. The combination of a silicone switch cover and a relay-based design that keeps heavier wiring away from the dash-mounted panel gives boat owners a cleaner way to manage navigation lights, bilge pumps, livewell aerators and other accessories from one location, without running a separate switch and fuse for each one.
The 12–24V compatibility applies here as well, covering both smaller boats on 12V systems and larger vessels running 24V electrical setups. As with the other segments, circuit count is really a function of how many accessories the boat carries — 6 circuits cover a modest setup, while 8 or 12 circuits suit boats with a fuller accessory list.
