The fourth season of Pro Govinda League concluded on August 27 with three days of high-energy competition, bringing together teams and players for an action-packed edition of the tournament.
Adding to the excitement was the presence of Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav, the brand ambassador of Pro Govinda League, who attended the event, met the teams and players, and showed his support for the tournament.
Suryakumar Yadav’s presence added to the atmosphere at the venue and reflected the growing interest in Govinda as it moves beyond its traditional festive setting and into a more organised sporting format.
This year’s league also reached a wider audience through its association with JioHotstar, giving viewers an opportunity to follow the action beyond the venue and further expanding the tournament’s digital reach.

For Alibaug Knights, co-owned by Ranjeet Singh Bindra of Bastian Hospitality and entrepreneur and singer Jashan Bhumkar, the tournament was another opportunity for the team to compete at a growing platform for the sport. The team finished as the 2nd runner-up in the 2026 edition of the Pro Govinda League.
Speaking about the experience, Jashan Bhumkar said, “It has been a great experience to be part of Pro Govinda League this season. Seeing the energy of the players and the support around the tournament was really exciting. It is encouraging to see Govinda becoming a more organised and recognised sporting platform while still keeping the spirit of the tradition intact.”
For Jashan, the growing scale of Pro Govinda League reflects the changing way the sport is being viewed. What has traditionally been closely associated with Maharashtra’s festive celebrations is now attracting wider attention through competitive teams, a structured league format and digital streaming.
The team was guided by Head coach & mentor Jude Singh, Ganesh Rewale, with player Sachin Vilas Raul also playing an important role in the Alibaug Knights’ Season 4 Pro Govinda League.
