Mumbai, 25 August 2026:
The Mumbai auditions of “Bacchon Ki Udaan 2026”, presented by Sikandar Azam Foundation and Raabta Foundation, were successfully held at Mumbai Public School, Matunga. The auditions witnessed around 35 performances representing 8–10 schools, creating an inspiring platform for children with physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities to showcase their talent, creativity and confidence.
The event featured group singing, group dance, group drama, solo dance, solo singing, mono acts, drawing and painting, celebrating the diverse abilities and creativity of every participant.
A Mission Driven by Love, Positivity & Inclusion
At the heart of this initiative are Yasmin Lulania, Founder of Raabta Foundation, and Badruddin Qureshi, Founder of Sikandar Azam Foundation, along with Dr. Neha Qureshi, Secretary of Sikandar Azam Foundation.
Through their collective vision and mission, they are working towards creating meaningful platforms for children, spreading love and positivity, motivating them to believe in themselves and giving their abilities the recognition they deserve. Their efforts aim to ensure that every child gets an opportunity to participate, express themselves and experience the joy of being celebrated.
Supporting an Important Cause
Mumbai Halchal by Dilshad Khan and The Trending Times with Archana Jain, along with Florian Foundation, supported this meaningful cause in association with Suhail Khandwani, further strengthening the message of inclusion, encouragement and equal opportunity.
Six-Member Esteemed Jury Panel
The auditions were judged by an esteemed six-member jury panel comprising Raza Qureshi, Bhavna Puri, Danish Khatri, Sujata Sawant, Ainky Kaushik and Dhanashree Naik.
The jury brought diverse creative, artistic and performance perspectives to the evaluation process, while encouraging the children to express themselves with confidence.
Every participating child was recognised for their effort and enthusiasm, with participation certificates and goodies presented to the students and their coordinators.
The Journey Towards the Grand Finale
The successful Mumbai auditions mark an important milestone in the journey of Bacchon Ki Udaan 2026. The grand finale is scheduled for 13 October 2026 at Mysore Auditorium, Matunga, bringing together the talent, dreams and inspiring journeys witnessed during the auditions.
