20th August, 2026: The 14th edition of Rajnigandha Presents Jagran Film Festival, the World’s Largest Travelling Film Festival, is all set to return to New Delhi from 20th to 23rd August 2026 at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre.Bringing together acclaimed filmmakers, actors, creators and cinema enthusiasts from across the country, the festival promises four days of exceptional storytelling, thought-provoking conversations and a celebration of the finest cinematic voices from India and around the world. As it begins another journey across the country, the Delhi chapter sets the tone for what promises to be an exciting edition of the festival.
Marking a major cinematic milestone, the festival will open with the world premiere of Shikayatein, making it the film’s first-ever public screening. Featuring acclaimed actors Javed Jaffrey and Sayani Gupta, the emotionally charged drama explores the complexities of relationships, unresolved emotions and the silent burdens people carry through life. Anchored by compelling performances and heartfelt storytelling, Shikayetein promises to make a memorable opening to this year’s festival.
Closing the Delhi chapter will be Lost & Found Kumbh, a moving film set against the backdrop of the Kumbh Mela. Blending themes of faith, hope and human connection, the film follows lives that unexpectedly intersect amidst one of the world’s largest gatherings. Rich in emotion and cultural depth, it serves as a fitting conclusion to a festival dedicated to celebrating stories that leave a lasting impact.
