Raipur, 24 August 2026: Round Table India is a nationwide fellowship of young professionals and entrepreneurs (aged 18–40) dedicated to community service through friendship. Founded globally in 1927 and established in India in 1962, the organisation is non-political, non-religious and non-sectarian. It focuses on leadership development, strong fellowship, and impactful grassroots projects — especially building educational infrastructure for underprivileged children under its flagship “Freedom Through Education” initiative.
Raipur United Round Table 344 emerged as one of the standout performers at the Area Annual General Meeting (AAGM) of Round Table India Area 3 and Area 15, held on 20th and 21st August 2026 at Radisson Hotel, Nashik.
The table won the Best Table of Area 3 – Gold Category. Area 3 comprises major cities including Bombay, Nagpur, Nashik, Raipur, Bhilai and Durg. This achievement not only brought pride to the city of Raipur but also marked a strong presence of the table on the national stage, in the presence of the National President of Round Table India, Tr. Vishnu Prabhakar.
Announcing the achievements, LMF Tabler Utkarsh Gupta, SSR Convener and Publicity Convener of Raipur United Round Table 344, shared that the table secured top honours across several key categories:
• Best Table of Area 3 – Gold Category
• Best Fundraiser – Gold Category
• Best Extension – Gold Category
• Inter Table Fellowship – Silver Category
• HEAL – Bronze Category
In a significant individual honour, LMF Tabler Giriraj Lakhotia, Chairman of the table and 65th National Fitness Convener, was conferred the Best Chairman of the Area – Gold Category. This is regarded as the highest award for any Tabler in the Area and further cemented Raipur United Round Table 344’s position as the top-ranking table in Area 3.
The Gold award for fundraising recognised the table’s impactful efforts in supporting school infrastructure and various charitable causes.
Further adding to the pride of the table, LMF Tabler Vipul Agrawal of Raipur United Round Table 344 has been appointed as the Area Secretary Treasurer (AST) of Area 3 for the year 2026-27.
Speaking on the occasion, LMF Tabler Utkarsh Gupta said, “These awards are a reflection of pure teamwork, extraordinary hard work, and the strong bonding among all our tablers. Every recognition we received is the result of collective dedication and shared purpose.”
