In a city that drives nearly 40% of India’s wedding business for across north India, Delhi-based VanVivaha Expotainment Pvt. Ltd. is set to debut its flagship experiential wedding expo, “VanVivaha,” on 28–29 March 2026 at ADot Gurugram. Founded by industry veteran Tejwannt Singh Lamba along with co-founders Sarthak Saini and Namhe Singh, the venture promises to combine wedding exhibitions, fashion shows, networking seminars, and live concerts under a single grand umbrella at India’s grandest wedding venue , offering India’s wedding and events ecosystem a unique platform for business, knowledge sharing, and entertainment.

So tell us, what is the grand idea behind this venture? What prompted you to launch VanVivaha?

I have been in the wedding, events and experiential marketing industry for almost 30 years. Over time, I realized the potential to combine all my experience into a single grand initiative. That’s why we partnered with a premier venue to create an intellectual property (IP) of our own. While there are similar events in the market, none bring together wedding exhibitions, networking forums, fashion shows and concerts under one roof. That’s our differentiator at VanVivaha.

Can you give us an overview of what “VanVivaha” will feature?

VanVivaha is designed as a comprehensive networking platform. There will be over 200 stalls covering 60 different categories, from jewellers , designers to photographers and planners . We’re hosting 16 fashion shows, multiple seminars, networking sessions, after-parties and four concerts. All three venues at ADOT-Convention Hall, Club Xs 2.O and Experience Hall; will be fully activated. It’s an ecosystem for selling, networking, showcasing talent and creating content.

When is VanVivaha taking place, and why these dates?

Season 1, Edition 1 of VanVivaha Delhi  NCR is scheduled for 28–29 March 2026. March is ideal: it’s the wedding off-season, so stakeholders—from planners to performers—are available. For designers, it’s the perfect moment to preview spring–summer collections for the upcoming bridal season, maximizing participation and visibility.

Having observed the wedding and events industry closely, what are its current challenges?

Knowledge sharing is a major gap. Much of the information exchange happens on social media, which is passive. The industry lacks platforms for direct engagement—sharing insights about venues, fees, new trends and technologies etc. VanVivaha is designed to bridge that gap, enabling the community to learn and grow together.

Why should stakeholders participate in your IP- VanVivaha ?

Participation is a must for anyone looking to sell, network, or explore new opportunities. From exhibitors across 60 categories to socialites, influencers and performers, the event offers multiple touchpoints. Whether it’s fashion launches, influencer activations, art showcases or concerts, VanVivaha is designed to be eclectic, dynamic and business-driven.

Where does the ‘Van’—the jungle—influence the name?

Our theme draws from the forest: the exhibition, concerts, and runway shows are inspired by nature’s textures, colors, and symbolism. We’ll also unveil a CSR initiative focused on tree-planting and sustainability in the wedding business, taking forward the vision of our Hon’ble PM—‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.’

What will be truly “out-of-the-box” at VanVivaha?

As the three founders/co-founders, we’re committed to #WedInIndia. We will not allow international tourism boards, hotels, or businesses that promote weddings outside India to participate. We believe this will be positively offset by Indian State Tourism Boards showcasing compelling domestic destinations—Northeast India and Jammu & Kashmir for hill weddings, Rajasthan for desert weddings, and Kerala and Goa for beach weddings.
