About the Author
Zubair Arif was raised in Kashmir and completed his bachelor’s degree at Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi before pursuing higher education in Turkey, where he lived for five years. During this time, he completed formal language training in Turkish and later studied Arabic in the UAE, becoming multilingual.
He currently manages an experiential travel company based in Kashmir while residing in the UAE, where he is professionally engaged. His exposure to diverse cultures and languages enriches his storytelling, bringing authenticity and depth to his exploration of identity, memory, displacement, and belonging.
Writing has been an integral part of his life since high school. In 2019, while still in college, he published his debut novel, In Search of Lost Home, establishing himself as a thoughtful literary voice committed to exploring the emotional landscapes of human experience.
